Full Moon in Taurus: Confronting Your Inner Truths While Preparing for Intense Change

Tomorrow (November 12th) early in the morning we have a Full Moon in Taurus. There's lots of change in the air, yet we are still in Mercury Retrograde gathering information. 

The New Moon cycle we had was opposing Uranus. Yet Mars was square Saturn and then Mercury Retrograde came shortly after. The cycle was about radical change and transformation, but some restrictions and blocks in the way of moving forward. Not to mention Mercury Retrograde showing up and saying we need more information. Still lots of change in the air. 

This Full Moon shows this as well. The Sun is in Scorpio. It's the season of transformation. It's a Full Moon, it's a culmination point, but also right after a time to release. Especially in Scorpio season. It's autumn, trees are shedding their leaves and you must shed the old. With the Moon in Taurus, release foundations that are old. Stop hanging on to what is stagnant, dead and not working. Or others may be in a different situation needing to let themselves build new foundations. Allow the new changes to come in and take root. It's kind of like our lives are like trees. Some people have an old dead tree on their hands and it's time for it to go. To be chopped down and turned into firewood or something. Other people are tending to a new tree, letting those roots grow deeper and really anchored into the earth beneath it. 

While we are in a time of release, transformation and change, it is still Mercury Retrograde. Change is still happening regardless, but maybe more internally as we prepare for the actual more external change. There's lots to be looked at, processed and let go of within yourself. It can get uncomfortable, but it's necessary. There's also lots of information that can keep coming up as well. More to be discovered. Especially since at the time of the Full Moon Mercury had just previously been aligned with the Sun. A lot more information may be coming to light. Sometimes Mercury can get blocked out by the Sun, so right before the Full Moon we could either be like 'aha' or not quite get where things are going. Regardless afterwards it emerges with new information. 

While not exact the Sun and Moon are moving into an aspect with Pluto at this time. Again confirming change and transformation in the works. Whatever changes are being wrought internally and about to be externally, will be for the best. There's an intensity though with all of this that's for sure. All this Scorpio energy is making us delve deep. Look at our shadows. The past. Confront truths. Even be overwhelmed with our desires. It's forcing transformation, but it isn't easy. It's a time that can bring about some discomfort. There's a bit of a squirming quality as we're faced with the underworld, the hidden shadows, truths and secrets previously kept. It's all for the good though! Positive transformation is here! 

While all that Scorpionic stuff is intense, we do have a super positive aspect going on at the same time as the Full Moon. This aspect is Mars in Libra sextile Jupiter in Sagittarius. There's expansion and growth happening. There's even a sense of luck and positive opportunities. It's funny cause at the New Moon Mars squared Saturn, so while it was a new phase there was a lot of restrictions and blocks. Now Mars is sextile Jupiter. Now we can grow! Now there is opportunity. We can see a glimpse of a bright future. With Mars in Libra this can bode well for one on one relationships and connections in particular. Opportunities to see how to move forward. Optimistic feelings of future opportunities for positive relationship growth. 

Also, Saturn in Capricorn just finished it's final sextile with Neptune. Reality and dreams can work together. If you so decide and put a bit of effort in, your dreams can come true. Amidst the intensity, deep reflection  and change, there's a lot of positivity as well at this time! 

It's been intense lately, that's for sure. With a Full Moon while the Sun is in Scorpio and Mercury Retrograde is in Scorpio it can get emotional and the emotions can run real deep. It's also a little too easy to get too caught up in the dark. Everything is moving towards positive transformation though. I'm telling you, once this Mercury Retrograde is over there will be lots of change unfolding. Right now its happening internally. We are processing and discovering new bits of important information. It's all pushing us towards major change in our lives and there's so much opportunity. We can totally make our dreams reality. Just be willing to transform.To shed your snakeskin. Be brave enough to face your shadows and your truth. It's all good, it's also just intense as fuck. 

Full Moon in Taurus: Are You Ready For Major Transformation?

Tomorrow, October 24th 2018 at 9:45 AM, we are having a Full Moon in Taurus. What a Full Moon it will be! It's activating a huge grand fixed cross. This is intense and powerful. There's so much going on! 

Full Moon's in general mark a time of harvest and completion and a letting go so that we can enter a new period and new energy. Moon phases are always based on where the Sun and Moon are in relation to each other. When the Moon is full, the Moon and Sun are opposite each other in opposing signs. Both the energy of the Sun and the Moon are equally important. This time we're dealing with the Moon in Taurus and the Sun in Scorpio. 

♏ Sun in Scorpio ♏

All this Scorpio energy has been getting us in touch with the depths of who we are, bringing up deep desires and making us face the shadows. It's very powerful and transformational. This Full Moon is a important point to finally release that which doesn't serve you; to let yourself yourself transform. It's the end of the old and time for the birth of the new. Even without without discussing the other energies this is a huge part of this time. The bottom line, so to speak, is transformation. A complete transformation involving letting the old die out and birthing the new. Scorpio does after all rule the cycles of life. There are times to let go, so that the new can come in. 

A big influence with the Scorpio part of the Full Moon is that Venus retrograde is conjunct the Sun. They are 3 degrees apart, but moving towards alignment with each other. Love is a big part of this Full Moon. You may be much closer to knowing what you want relationship wise. This can be more or less major depending on where you stand relationship wise. It's time to completely let go of the old relationships that no longer serve you or old patterns that no longer serve you. We need to make room for the new because if you've been doing the work, it's closer than ever. Another huge and wonderful part of this aspect is that we're closer to self love, to realizing the wonder of who we are. realizing our worth and all the wonderful things we deserve. This is powerful, let yourself align with this energy! This is a very magical element of everything that's been going on.

Now Taurus is known for being the most stubborn of the fixed signs. It's the fixed earth sign after all. It's wonderful for stability and building foundations. However, there's nothing stable to this time, but that's ok! In fact it can be wildly exciting! After all Uranus is the planet that's conjunct the Moon during the Full Moon. Stop being stubborn, stop holding on, it's time for change! Change is here! Transformation is here. It's time to build new foundations. The universe is giving us a shake. The more you go with it, the more exciting it will be. If your life has been stagnant get prepared! Taurus is the sign that Venus rules, so Venus is just woven throughout lots of this energy! 

♌ The Nodes ♒

Ok, so a cross is made of 4 points. One point is the Sun and Venus in Scorpio. Opposite from that we have the Moon and Uranus in Taurus. Then to make up the other part of the cross we have the North Node in Leo on one side and the South Node in Aquarius on the other. The Nodes are square the Scorpio planets and the Taurus planets and that's what our grand fixed cross consists of. It's almost the end of the time of the North Node in Leo and the South Node in Aquarius. It's important we remember their lesson as we go through these big transformations and changes. Remember to never give up your authenticity and who you really are. Remember to keep sharing that with the world. There may be some tension with this, but it's so important to bring this energy forward with us. With Venus Retrograde going on, it's especially important that we don't allow our authenticity to be diminished in relationships. Don't be in relationships that drain your light, authenticity, or anything that's yours. We need to be complete people on our own now and show up in relationships that way. Also, you should be like that when you're sharing with the world as well.

This is quite an intense Full Moon, but so powerful! This is ultimately bringing immense transformation and change. This can only help to completely solidify our dedication to ourselves and our authenticity, bringing us deeper in self love, aligned with our desires and to help bring the love and relationships that are right for us into our lives. 

Full Moon in Taurus: Doing Away With Old Structures and Creating New Ones

Tomorrow (November 3rd 2017 at 10:23 PM PDT) we are having a Full Moon in Taurus. This is an intense Full Moon that packs a punch. Change and transformation are in the air! 

As I usually mention, Full Moons are a time of harvest, culmination and letting go. What is coming to a head at this time? What are we letting go? Well let's take a look at some of the themes. 

This Full Moon is comprised of the Moon in Taurus and the Sun in Scorpio. This means there is a tug of war between structure/stability (Taurus) and total transformation (Scorpio). Of course we have to try to find a happy balance between these things ideally. The Scorpio energy though, rules our deep desires and we are wanting those now. Especially since Jupiter entered Scorpio. Being in touch with our deepest desires is even a theme for the year. At this time we have to let go of structures that we are holding on to that feel secure, so that we can indeed fulfill our desires. 

While we are being urged ( and let's be honest, most of us probably don't actually need urging right now) to let go of certain things and go after our desires, we want to try not to act too rashly. The Moon is exalted in Taurus, so hopefully this good Moon energy will help us be grounded and stable enough in our emotions. 

Now this energy can play out in any area of our lives and it is best to look at our charts at 11 degrees Scorpio and Taurus to see how this will personally affect us. For some there could be some things that come up around romantic relationships. Scorpio rules intimacy and sexuality, so stuff could come up around that. Scorpio is also the sign associated with jealousy and Taurus with possessiveness and in past Full Moons in Taurus, these are issues that have been prevalent. I'm bringing that up now, cause jealousy and possessiveness could backfire with an aspect that is going on during the Full Moon, which is Venus opposite Uranus. 

Venus opposing Uranus has even more significance because Venus rules Taurus, the sign the Full Moon is in. This aspect means that the drive to break free and be an individual is at odds with the  desire to have compromise and harmony. As you can see, possessiveness won't work right now because it allows neither freedom nor compromise. Of course compromise is ideal right now, we just need to find a balance with our own individuality. 

Uranus's involvement in this Full Moon just further shows that we are in for some change. It was involved in our last New Moon too, so we have been on this path of change for a little while. 

Neptune is involved in the Full Moon making a positive and exact aspect. With this aspect there is definitely a dreamy vibe in the air. A lot of people may feel spacey and tired in the midst of all this crazy change. This is a good time though for spiritual insights and to be in touch with our intuition. 

The last aspect I want to mention that is going on at the time of the Full Moon is Saturn square Chiron. This may bring some wounds to the surface and feelings of victimhood. There also may be some wounds around what you believe. As in beliefs you may have about yourself or the world around you. Also there may be a feeling of disconnection. 

~Overall, this is a high energy Full Moon! We are changing and transforming that's for sure. It's similar to The Tower card pictured above. Structures in our lives that aren't in alignment with our deepest desires are falling apart, so that we can create new ones that will serve us better. Try to find balance in the chaos and healing by getting in touch with spirituality. Find compromise even within your desire to be free~

The Closest Super Moon in 68 Years: November 14th Full Moon in Taurus

On November 14th 2016 we are having a Full Moon in Taurus. Not only will this Full Moon be one of a series of three Super Moons, it will be the closest Super Moon since 1948. 

A Super Moon happens when the Moon is closer to the earth than normal. This means that this Full Moon will be the closest it has been to the earth in 68 years. We're going through a period of Super Moons that will last through December. We had one last month, which was pretty intense if I may say so myself. Now we are having the closest one of all. This means that the energy of the Full Moon is very, very magnified. 

Full Moons are all about releasing and letting go of things that no longer serve us. Since this Full Moon is so close, this is a huge time for release. Whether it's letting go of old beliefs, behavior patterns, or getting rid of a particular situation in your life, it is certainly time to let go. On a side note  Full Moons are a great time to clear the energy since it is a time of release. You can do this using whatever method you prefer to use. 

The Full Moon is occurring with the Moon in Taurus and the Sun in Scorpio, so the energy is all about themes of the Taurus and Scorpio axis. On one hand the energy is about stability vs transformation. What part of you wants to keep part of your life stable and secure? What part of you desires something else, desires to transform yourself and your life for the better? We shall have to find a middle ground between the two, but I will tell you the Moon is urging us to not  stay stuck in the way things are and the Sun is urging us to transform and change for the better. This Full Moon could be hugely transformational if we tap into it's powerful and positive energy. 

A particular energy that could manifest during this Full Moon is the energy of possessiveness or jealousy. Possessiveness is a trait of Taurus and jealousy is a Scorpio trait. Of course the point of Full Moons is to let go though, so it's important to let possessiveness and jealousy go. Remember that you don't own anybody, the only person you have any control over is yourself. Also remember to not focus on what you lack and what other people have. Focus on what you do have, not what you lack and not what you fear. It's time to transmute these energies. 

Money is a small issue that could be brought up for some people since Taurus energy rules your personal finances and Scorpio rules other people's money. Perhaps some people need to find some sort of balance between the two or may be dealing with some issues regarding this area. 

Taurus is a nice placement at least for the Moon to be in because the Moon is exalted in Taurus. No matter what issues come up we should be able to at least find some sort of grounding if we choose and to deal with things in a practical manner. It's a good time to find practical solutions and to take practical action. 

The one aspect the Full Moon will be making will be to Chiron. The Moon will be sextile Chiron and the Sun will be trine Chiron.  This aspect is bringing the need to heal to the forefront. Chiron is making positive aspects at least, so this is definitely a healing influence. We have an opportunity with this Full Moon to heal some of our wounds and issues. Chiron has been in Pisces for quite a while now and with Chiron's placement there a great way to heal anything during this Full Moon would be to connect spiritually. The Scorpio Sun energy is supportive of this as well. 

~This is quite the Full Moon we have on our hands! The energy of this may have been felt a week or so prior and will probably be felt a week or so after as well. So be aware of that. Full Moon in Taurus: Goodbye Stability, Hello Change!

On November 6th 2014 there will be a Full Moon in Taurus at 2:23 PM. This Full Moon will further enforce the issues that the Solar Eclipse in Scorpio dealt with, mainly the need to transform. 

A Full Moon always happens when the Sun and the Moon are opposing. This Full Moon, the Moon will be in Taurus and the Sun will be in Scorpio, which means that we will be dealing with Taurus and Scorpio issues. Full Moons are about letting go of that which no longer serves us, so we will have to let go of Taurus issues this Full Moon. The issue that we really have to deal with during the Full Moon is our relationship to stability. Do we cling to it too tightly? Are we playing it too safe? Are we being excessively stubborn? We have to let go of our dependance on stability because the Scorpio Sun, particularly after the Solar Eclipse is urging us to transform our lives and welcome change. 

Venus will be conjunct the Sun during the Full Moon which brings relationships to the forefront. Astrologically, relationships have been on the radar recently. This particular conjunction during the Full Moon urges us to transform our relationships on a deep level. Pluto will also be playing a minor part during this Full Moon by a loose trine with the Moon. Pluto just further urges us to welcome change and transform ourselves. 

It's all about transformation these days! So let go of that which no longer serves you, let go of your dependency on stability, and let yourself and your life transform and change. A good thing to remember right now, particularly during this Full Moon, is that the only constant thing in life is change.
