Solar Eclipse in Capricorn: A Whole New World

Late last night we had a New Moon Solar Eclipse in Capricorn. Eclipse season is here again and lots is changing!

Think back to summer, especially to July and what was going on in your life then. How has that led to now? What's connected? Those Eclipses back then are an important part of what's happening now. back then it was all about the Cancer energy and the Cancer North Node. Following our hearts. Connecting to emotions. Paths we take in life must be connected to that even now, but it really started back then and releasing anything in the way of that.

Now we have to tend to the opposite side of things. The Capricorn energy. We need to figure out the material/physical side of things. The practical side. A Solar Eclipse is a powerful new beginning point. This time in a more tangible sense. We must have a new reality to go with our new path of following our hearts and feelings. A reality in alignment with what we feel. This is what is occurring at this time. It's literally a time to enter a brand new reality. A whole new world. It's really important to allow yourself to enter this whole new world at this time. To not hold yourself back. Don't cling to the past. Or be held back by fear. This Eclipse is positive, but the downside of Capricorn energy can be a sense of fear or restriction. Think bigger than that and don't let fear of this new world hold you back.

The Sun and Moon will actually be conjunct Jupiter during the Eclipse, which is really positive. Jupiter is about luck and expansion. Even in Capricorn. It's time to grow. Expand your reality. This is a really positive part of this Eclipse. Also, a couple days before the Eclipse, Uranus in Taurus was trine the Sun in Capricorn. This energy is still affecting the Eclipse. This energy is influencing a lot of change. A lot of shakeups. You can't stay stagnant in an old reality, you have to shake it up.

Saturn and Pluto are also in Capricorn, but not conjunct the Eclipse. They are still influencing it though. They are moving closer and closer to their conjunction and will more impact the upcoming Lunar Eclipse. Still though, we have to do away with the old. Accept the end of a cycle and beginning of a new one. It's time to transform the structures in your life. Create new ones. Gain some new power and authority over your life.

Capricorn also has tons to do with the structures of society and the government. Tons is changing in that area too with the Eclipses, but that's not an area I personally like to dive too deep into with astrology. My niche is more personal astrology. Still though, some of the biggest changes we may see for a long while may happen within these areas.

~It's been interesting lately. So many changes for so many people. Realities are changing. Changing for the better. Allow it to happen because trust me, you don't want to cling to the old world. The old world is crumbling. Both on personal and collective levels. Build new worlds. It's about time. ~

New Moon in Capricorn: Building the Lives We Desire

Tomorrow (January 16th 2018 at 6:17 PM PST) we are having a New Moon in Capricorn. Everything in the cosmos has been intense recently and this New Moon is no exception. This is actually quite a big moment for us all.

New Moons are a time to plant seeds. A time we can start fresh and decide/work on what we would like to manifest in our lives. All the Capricorn energy lately has been urging us to get down to business to create the lives we want. It's about building new structures, it's about being practical and working hard. Manifesting what we want in our physical realities. This New Moon is just another stepping stone and push to do this. Plus the Capricorn energy is at an all time high right now with six planets in Capricorn!

đŸ’ĢI want to talk about the planets besides the Sun and the Moon (which together form the New Moon) that are in Capricorn right now and how they are contributing to all that's going on. đŸ’Ģ

Mercury
We finally have Mercury in Capricorn. It was kind of a straggler since it went retrograde last month. We may not have been completely sure about the direction our lives were going in and maybe we were missing some information. Now that it has joined the Capricorn party we are able to make decisions. We are able to use our practical minds to help build the future we want.

Venus 💟
Venus has been part of the Capricorn party for a little while now and is nearing the end of it's transit there.  It's the closest Capricorn planet to the New Moon. It's been pretty highlighted lately and this is no exception. This is helping us build lives that include what we love. It also just places a big focus on relationships. For some people building the relationship you want is important at this time. Commitment and taking relationships seriously is in the air.

Saturn
Saturn recently started it's 2 1/2 year cycle through Capricorn. Saturn rules Capricorn, so it's really powerful there. It's the ruler of all this Capricorn energy right now. It's quite a big player in the cosmos at the moment. It's really helping us get practical and serious about our lives. Saturn is an authority figure, a taskmaster and father time all in one. I think this placement can be powerful and helpful, but if you aren't taking your life seriously and don't realize the precious nature of time, life could be harder for you.

Pluto
Pluto has been in Capricorn for a few years and has a few more years to go. It really adds a big transformative energy to all this Capricorn. It's making a huge exciting aspect that I'm stoked about right now. Jupiter in Scorpio is making a sextile to it. This is a rare and exciting aspect. So much growth and transformation at this time! I mean, it's major! Also, Pluto is ruling Jupiter right now because Jupiter is in the sign that Pluto rules, making this even more intense! The Scorpio energy is contributing in general to all this Capricorn energy. Besides that big Jupiter aspect, Mars is in a sextile with the New Moon. This gives us the drive to build the lives that we want. The Scorpio energy is making us dig deep and to make sure that we are building lives that are rich and satisfying on a soul level. Only what we really want and desire will do at this time.

Uranus square the Sun and Venus
Over the weekend Uranus in Aries squared both Venus and the Sun. The energy is still in play a little, but mostly happened right before the New Moon. Uranus brought some unexpected twists perhaps and threw some curveballs our way, but hopefully even if they were rough we've been able to assimilate them alright and we can move forward accordingly now.

Chiron Sextile the New Moon
The last aspect/planet I want to talk about is Chiron in Pisces, which is making a sextile to the New Moon. This brings healing energy to this time. We are healing certain things in our lives, so that we can move forward and build the lives we are meant to have.

☆ Overall this is an intense time! A wonderful time to start building the lives we want however. Yes the energy has more of a serious tone then a light hearted one, but not in a bad way. The universe is pushing us forwards and personally I think it's rather exciting. ☆

New Moon in Capricorn: Feeling Stuck in a Rut

Today ( December 28th 2016 at 10:23 PM PST) there is a New Moon in Capricorn. Usually this would be a time of new beginnings, getting down to business and getting practical about what we'd like to manifest. This New Moon however we won't really be getting much work done because it's joining up with Mercury Retrograde.

The New Moon is conjunct Mercury Retrograde within one degree, so the Retrograde energy is just so strong right now. It's really stopping any forward motion. We are all being forced  to retreat inwards. Capricorns and the other cardinal signs will probably find this the most frustrating, especially since cardinal energy loves to plunge ahead. People may be feeling as though they've hit a rut. Of course we can always think about what we'd like to manifest, but it isn't time to put it into motion. On January 8th Mercury goes direct and things will start to move forward, but we won't get out of the shadow of Mercury Retrograde till the end of January. It may be the beginning of a new year, but it's gonna take a month to feel like we're moving forward again.

As far as the Moon in Capricorn goes, it's not my favorite placement. The Moon is in it's detriment in Capricorn. It's a bit of a cold placement. We're being forced to review and turn inwards right now, but the energy supporting this is emotionally cold and very practical. Those who are sensitive may find this energy unsupportive and harsh as they turn inwards.

Another aspect made to the New Moon is an exact sextile to Mars. The appearance of Mars seems like it would infuse us with energy, but it's probably a bit more frustrating than anything else. Mars is in Pisces ( not a high energy sign) and may leave us feeling more energetically sensitive and fatigued. There may also be some fogginess since Mars is conjunct both Neptune and the South Node in Pisces.

Stepping away from the New Moon for a second, let's talk about some of the energy that is going on around it. We have the Jupiter Uranus opposition, which is exact right now. This has been affecting us for awhile. This is urging us to find the balance between compromise in relationships and independence. Venus is also making aspects to these planets, just further emphasizing the effect on relationships. Growth and change are inevitable with these planets. It's an interesting time because Jupiter, Saturn, Chiron and Uranus are all around 20 degrees right now. These outer planets are very activated at the moment.

Let's talk about Saturn and Chiron now. They are making a bit of a harsh aspect to each other. Although, Saturn is making a nice aspect to Uranus and Jupiter, which may be a nice grounding influence. It also is just adding another area of our lives to find balance with. Uranus is bringing up the desire to focus on ourselves and our independence, Jupiter, the desire to compromise and have harmonious relationships, and Saturn is showing us our responsibilities. Saturn and Chiron however are bringing up wounds. Yikes! This is a harsh combo. There may be a crisis in belief and feeling separated from source. People may feel lonely, victimized and even a bit depressed with this energy.

So how does the Mercury Retrograde energy tie into everything going on with outer planets? Well with Mercury Retrograde we are being forced inwards and also being forced to look at our pasts. So we are reflecting on the balance of relationships, past relationship issues are coming up, and old wounds are coming up for processing. It's a bit of a hectic time. It's an interesting ride we're in for at the moment, but a ride into the depths of ourselves, which may be a bit frightening. Hopefully we come out of this energy with a lightened load though. We must process through the old energy, so in the new year we can really start fresh. By the next New Moon, we should finally be ready for some wonderful new beginnings.

New Moon in Capricorn: Ambition, Motivation and Hard Work

© hdwallpapersos.com

On December 21st 2014 at 5:36 PM (PST) there will be a New Moon in Capricorn which will be the last New Moon of the year. There's not a lot going on with this New Moon when it comes to aspects and such, so it shouldn't be too intense.

Capricorn is a very ambitious sign, so this New Moon is great to start following your ambitions or to decide to work harder to fulfill your dreams. If you haven't had the drive to get projects going or haven't felt motivated recently, this New Moon could give you the drive you may have been lacking. For a select few, this New Moon could even give you a lucky break or chance for success. With Christmas only four days after this New Moon,  this could help you get some last minute Christmas things done if you have been procrastinating. Also with New Years right around the corner, this New Moon may make you feel motivated to start making some New Year's resolutions. New Year's always is in the sign of Capricorn, which is probably why we have New Year's resolutions in the first place. Capricorn is full of ambition and so are our resolutions.

Overall this isn't a crazy or intense New Moon. It shouldn't be emotional or anything like that, it is just very practical. All this New Moon is really giving us is the chance to structure our lives a bit more, get done what we need to do, and to follow our ambitions and dreams.
