New Moon in Gemini: Gathering New Information

Tomorrow morning we are having a New Moon in Gemini! There is so much energy in Gemini currently that this will just be adding to. Let's dive into what it all means. 

With a New Moon in Gemini we are getting a refresh. A fresh start when it comes to gathering information and communication. This energy is so important because the North Node is in Gemini. In fact, this could have been an Eclipse if the New Moon was further along in degrees. For now, we're just building up to that though. Eclipses will be coming soon! Still though, with the South Node in Sagittarius, we have to move away from assuming we know the truth and meaning of it all. Move away from self-righteousness. With the North Node in Gemini, we need to move towards sharing with others to see their points of view and gather up different information, ideas, concepts etc. This New Moon is really an entrance into that energy. It's time to start from a clean slate. Ditch the idea that you know it all. Approach life with a child's mind. See what there is to find. 

The New Moon is trine Saturn in Aquarius, which is helpful. We can be practical about the place we're in. Some grounding. Saturn in Aquarius is about building new structures. A way we've never seen before. Gathering this new information will help us build these new structures. The structures are not like what we've seen before, so our old truths won't apply either. We're building the new. 

There is an element of confusion however. Venus Retrograde in Gemini is conjunct Mercury in Gemini and they're both square Neptune in Pisces. Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and it's in a confused position. Even more reason why we need to explore info. It seems like nothing's clear. There might be a foggy feeling. With Neptune it's important to tap into your intuition and go with the flow. The info may be more intuitive rather than logical perhaps. 

With Venus Retrograde, we've been trying to gather info and figure things out around love, money and creative projects in order to make decisions when it's over (end of June). With this New Moon though, things may feel particularly foggy around these areas. This new info we're gathering here may be more intuition based again. There's a need to go with the flow and not force things to happen. This is new territory. So approach it as such. Take in the info you get, but don't be frustrated if things look cloudy. Trust your gut. Flow with it all. 

The energy has shifted so much honestly. We're no longer in that period of massive shifts of the structures of our lives. Now a lot has changed and we're left trying to mentally process it now. Ditch thinking you know the truth. Explore anew. Gain fresh new perspectives. 

New Moon in Gemini: New Connections, Ideas, Thought Patterns and Messages

Get ready to hit the refresh button with a New Moon in Gemini tomorrow! (June 3rd 2019). New Moon's are a time to plant seeds and manifest new things. They set the tone for the month ahead. 

With the New Moon in Gemini it's a time of new connections, new ideas and new thought patterns. It's a very buzzy energy that can have us flitting from here to there. It can be an exciting vibe. It's a great time to connect to people and to converse. Gemini is an air sign and is a very mental energy, so we may be full of ideas, wanting to mentally connect to others and explore different things. It's also an interesting time to take stock of your thought and communication patterns. If you've realized any patterns in these areas that aren't serving you, it's a great time to set an intention to rewrite these patterns. To rewrite some mental programs you might have that are perhaps more negative that may be keeping you in a state of worry or fear for instance. It's a great time to rewire communication habits too. For instance, if you have trouble being more open and expressing yourself you could set an intention to try to overcome that. Perhaps you struggle communicating with a certain person in your life. Maybe you have some communication blocks or problems. Now is a great time to try to overcome that and change some patterns. 

This could also be a time of insight and important messages and communications. Gemini is ruled by Mercury and Mercury happens to also be in Gemini at the time of the New Moon. Mercury is the messenger planet, so this is why we may be receiving different messages. Now, while there is no exact aspect, a square with Neptune and an opposition with Jupiter is looming in the background. We may be getting insights and communications, but some things may still be confusing. It's great our minds are so abuzz during this time, but it's important to trust our intuition at the end of the day.  You might have various facts thrown at you, but it's important to feel out situations and trust your gut. It's also important to have some trust and faith. To not let the monkey mind get the best of you. Last, but not least, keep the bigger picture in mind as you explore all the ideas and messages coming your way. Don't get lost in the details. 

At the time of the New Moon, Venus is coming off a trine to Pluto as well. Venus has been making nice aspects lately. This bodes well for our relationships and projects, which ties in really nicely with this Gemini New Moon energy. It really is a great time for new connections, new projects and new creations. 

New Moon in Gemini: Time for New Mindsets and Communication Habits

It's that time of the month again! On June 13th we are having a New Moon in Gemini! It's really important that you decide to start whatever it is you want to start at this time and set your intentions because there's only a small window of time left before the energy turns inward with Mars Retrograde. This is a good little bit of time to get some things started. 

The New Moon in Gemini can be a little bit of a lighter energy compared to other New Moons. This is a great time to connect with people, to learn new things, to act on new ideas (I would do that sooner rather than later). Anything to do with connecting with others, communicating and the mental realm is good to get started at this time basically. 

With the most recent Full Moon we had a theme of releasing old beliefs and thought patterns that weren't serving us anymore. Now with the energy of this mental New Moon everyone has the potential to set intentions to change their thought patterns for the better and really get their mindsets back on track. 

While there aren't really any direct aspects to the New Moon, there's a couple interesting things going on around it. The ruler of Gemini and therefore the New Moon, Mercury, will be square Chiron at the time of the New Moon. A little bit before that it will be sextile Uranus giving us electrical unusual insights perhaps. The New Moon itself though, is marked by the Mercury Chiron square. This shows that any mental or communication wounds may come up at this time. Even though the New Moon in Gemini is generally light, this may bring a bit of tension or difficulty. Remember though, we can use this New Moon to set intentions for better communication and mental habits! 

There could be security issues with Mercury in Cancer. Perhaps you're staying stuck with a safe, but not good mindset because you're afraid of what could change if you change your thoughts. If so,  it's not helping you as an individual be the best you can be. Perhaps what you're communicating and sharing with others is within a safety zone, but not exactly true to you. Chiron in Aries is all about healing issues around our identities, so any communication or mindset issues that we are holding onto  because of a warped sense of security, we need to let go of and start fresh at this time. 

One last thing to mention is that at the time of the New Moon, Venus will be at the last degree of Cancer and will enter Leo later in the day. That 29th degree is always significant! Relationship wise there could be a turning point for some at this time with the New Moon. Perhaps its a good chance to start some better communication habits in relationships or to change your mindset about relationships. 

✨This is a Super Moon, which basically means that the Moon is closer to the earth. Yes, this means the energy could be felt a little stronger perhaps. Other than that on the surface it doesn't seem like an action packed New Moon, but it's very powerful in terms of our minds and communication. We can really work through some important issues at this time. Plus it's just a good idea to get some new things rolling before Mars Retrograde! ✨
