New Moon in Cancer: Manifesting Security, Compassion and Emotional Well Being

Tomorrow, June 27th 2014 at 1:08 AM (PDT) there will be a New Moon in Cancer. This Moon will be very watery and emotional. Although New Moons are all about manifesting, so the emotional part about this moon won't be like the torrential downpour of emotion that Full Moons sometimes bring. This is a great time to manifest anything that has to do with emotions, such as gaining more emotional balance, becoming happier, or getting a hold on some emotional problem you might have. Cancer is the sign of the mother, so this is a great time to 'mother' yourself. Perhaps what you need more of in your life is to nourish yourself, if that's true this is a great time to set the intention for that in your life. Cancer also has to do with compassion, so this is a great time to manifest more compassion for yourself or others, whichever you feel you need more of. If you've been judging yourself or others harshly try to stand back and to nurture instead of judge. Cancer is strongly invested in security, so if you crave security it is important to be gentle to yourself and others and you may be surprised  about how much that will make you feel more secure. On another note, the New Moon is trine to Neptune retrograde in Pisces, lighting up that planetary influence at this time. The Moon's trine to Neptune will give this New Moon some dreamy and sensitive energy. You may also feel extra intuitive because of this or perhaps you might have intense dreams.
